RN - Acute Dialysis

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Acute)
Duration: 13-week contract
Location: Danville, PA 17821 - Float to other locations required.
Shift: 4 shifts per week (10 hours each), flexible based on patient needs, on-call 2-3 times/week, every other Saturday required.
On-Call: Be available for on-call shifts 2-3 times per week.
 
**Per Diem rates / Stipend available for candidates above 50 miles**

Role Overview:

• This position involves providing acute hemodialysis care to critically ill patients in hospital settings.
• The Registered Nurse (RN) will work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering specialized care to patients with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and transplant patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 acute hemodialysis to in patients with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and transplant patients.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, treatments, and managing kidney conditions. 

Required:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• TDAP, PATCH, Adult/Child Abuse Registry, and FBI Fingerprint clearance required for hospital access.
• RN License
• BLS from AHA.
