Job Title: RN NICU
Location: 1000 10th Ave, NYC, NY 10019
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Every Other Weekend Required)
Contract Type: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Hours: 34.5 hours/week, 11.5 hours/day, 3 days/week
Pay Rate: $70/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
Clinical Nurse provides safe, competent, and quality care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position involves applying the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practices while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The role includes providing patient care, improving patient experiences, ensuring quality and safety, and engaging in professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Skills:
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required (Non-negotiable).
Certifications & Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) – New York State upon hire.
BLS (Basic Life Support).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Flu vaccination (in-season).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
Travel experience is preferred for travel positions (not required for Per Diem).
EPIC experience is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong NICU experience with critical neonatal care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to manage resources and patient care effectively.

Unit Census: 18-21 beds in NICU.
