Job Title: RN – Ambulatory Clinic
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: 3 + Months (Potential to extend)
Shift: 07:00 – 15:30 (when in clinic with provider); 0800–1630 (when doing triage)
Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours per week; May float to other areas as needed
Job Summary:
The Staff RN – Ambulatory Clinic works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic, patient, and family-centered care. Responsibilities include systematic assessment, development, and evaluation of care plans; patient care coordination; direct patient care; patient education; telephone triage/eVisits; and assisting with minor in-clinic procedures. The RN utilizes evidence-based practice, considers safety and cost-effectiveness in care delivery, and delegates in alignment with the WI Nurse Practice Act. This role also contributes to quality improvement initiatives and professional development.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Clinical experience and/or interest in patient population management specific to the area of employment.
- Orthopedic background highly desired.
- Strong teamwork mentality, adaptability, and willingness to learn multiple orthopedic roles
- Comfortable using Epic EMR.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
Licensure & Certifications:
- Current Wisconsin RN License or a Multi-state Nursing License (NLC)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent
