RN - Electrophysiology Lab

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab)
Location: Albany, NY 
Duration: 8+Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $65 – $68/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

• Work Hours: 40 hours per week

• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Late Shift: Must work 1 late day per week for cases extending past 5:30 PM

• No weekends, holidays, or on-call required

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel RN – Electrophysiology Lab to support the EP lab team in a large academic hospital environment. Candidates must have recent Epic EMR experience, a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, and be comfortable assisting in high-complexity electrophysiology procedures. This role involves pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care, close coordination with cardiologists, and a strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and interventions.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing EP studies and ablations

• Assist with device implants (pacemakers, ICDs) and loop recorders

• Monitor patients during procedures using advanced telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring

• Document all procedures and care in Epic EMR

• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety policies

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• ACLS (AHA) – Required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience – Required

• Previous EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab experience – Highly Preferred

• Epic EMR Experience – REQUIRED

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program – Required

• BSN – Preferred
