Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Job Title: RN ICU (ACCU)
Location: Moreno Valley, CA - 92555 
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Day and Night Both Shift available
Hours: 36 Hours/Week | 12-hour shifts
Pay Local Pay: $50 - $60/hr. - W2
Travel Pay: $2300 - $2,833.62/Week including stipend: $1,594.62/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual) on admission and throughout care
• Develop, implement, and continuously update individualized care plans
• Administer medications using the 7 rights, including high-risk medications
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatments and interventions
• Interpret diagnostic results and respond appropriately to critical values
• Communicate changes in patient condition using SBAR protocol
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety goals, and hospital policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and discharge coordination
• Educate patients and families using approved tools (e.g., Krames)
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NIHSS Certification
• CCRN Certification (highly preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of recent ICU RN experience in an acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience (1+ year) (highly preferred)
• Ability to float between ICU, ED, PACU, and IMC units as needed
