Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg /Tele (Local /Travel)
Location: Edison, Neptune, NJ (other location available)
Duration: 3 Months+ contract (possibility of extension)

Shift: Day Shift /Night Shift | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM/7:00 PM – 7:00AM
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed
Pay range: $56 - $58/hr. on w2

Note: NON-TAXABLE STIPEND offered 50 miles and above.

 Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services in a 26-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit. The RN collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and document individualized patient care
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
• Monitor telemetry, administer IV medications, and perform EKGs
• Use clinical judgment to identify patient needs and set priorities
• Document care using EPIC, adhering to standards and patient acuity
• Advocate for evidence-based practice and continuous care improvement
• Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
• Participate in care team coordination and provide patient/family education

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Telemetry Certification or Competency Exam – Required

 
Licensure & Certifications:

• NJ Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• Tele Certification – Required
