Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am

Job Summary:

• The LTACH/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
• The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care.
• This role requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, and providing direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.
• Two to five years of nursing experience is required.

Experience and Certifications/ License:

• Current ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association and attached to submission).
• Minimum of 2 years recent LTAC experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care.
• Valid Kentucky RN license (must be attached to resume).
