Job Title: RN – Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) – Travel
Location: Golden, CO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift
Hours: 36 Hours/Week | 12-hour shifts
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). The RN will provide patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation per hospital guidelines
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
- Float to other units as needed based on patient care needs
- Adhere to safety, compliance, and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- 1 Year of experience in IMC / Stepdown / PCU / Telemetry
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- BLS(AHA), ACLS(AHA), NIHSS
