Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients.
- This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
- The Staff RN job description has incorporated essential functions which are adapted from the ANA Nursing: Product and Standards of Practice. Other duties as assigned.
- Education Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Responsibility:
- Provide immediate care to patients in critical conditions, administering medications, IVs, and life-saving treatments.
- Work alongside physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Continuously monitor patient vital signs and document all assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately.
- Advocate for patients’ needs, provide emotional support, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and ensure the safe use of emergency equipment, maintaining a sterile environment.

Education:
- Required Education
- Required NIH Stroke Scale Certification:
- Required Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years.
- 2 Years Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
