RN - L&D - Travel

Job Title: RN  Labor & Delivery
Location: Moreno Valley, CA
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hrs/week | Open to Days & Nights
Local Pay: $60/hr - $70/hr
Travel Pay:  $80/hr  - $3144/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon admission and throughout each shift, addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care using clinical data, reassessments, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Manage laboring patients and provide immediate newborn care, including use of fetal monitoring equipment and interpreting fetal heart strips.
• Recognize and respond to signs of complications such as fetal distress and magnesium sulfate toxicity, notifying providers as needed.
• Document all care, assessments, interventions, and patient education accurately and in real time.
• Adhere to hospital protocols including SBAR communication, patient safety goals, infection control, and emergency response procedures.

• Active California RN License
• 3+ years of recent L&D experience in an acute care setting
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring
