Job Title: RN House Supervisor – ICU (Travel)
Location: Little Rock, AR 72205
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift/Schedule: Night Shift | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing care plans and long-term ICU strategies
- Direct and coach nursing staff, ensuring continuous professional development
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state nursing board regulations, and infection control protocols
- Monitor and manage nursing budget, resources, and inventory
- Conduct staff scheduling, performance appraisals, and training
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and resolve patient care issues proactively
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and departmental activities
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to operational improvements
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Arkansas or valid multi-state compact license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU supervisory hospital experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, hospital operations, and personnel management
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience managing teams in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial oversight in a hospital environment
