Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Marietta, GA 30068
Duration: Duration: 6+ months (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Every other weekend required. M-F:830a-730p, Sa:9a-530p, Su:9a-530p
Position Summary:
- Flexibility to float to nearby clinic locations as needed.
- Comfortable using computerized systems, including EHRs.
- The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides evidence-based, holistic care in a retail clinic environment, mananing patients 18 months and older.
- Working collaboratively with a clinical care team, the FNP is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role plays a critical part in improving health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Clinics are located within select Client Pharmacy and Target store locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Document all patient encounters in an electronic health record (EHR).
- Promote patient engagement and satisfaction through open communication and responsiveness to feedback.
- Verify insurance coverage and incorporate findings into treatment planning.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
- Current National Board Certification as an FNP.
- Active license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
