Job duration: 2-3 Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Schedule Note: Midnights 19:00 pm - 07:30 am every other weekend and holiday required, 48 hour schedule available if requested.

Job Summary:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Experience:
- Cerner experience.
- Previous travel experience.
- Previous level 2 trauma experience.
- 2+ years Neuro ICU experience.
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, current MI RN licensure.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Schedule Hours Per Day: 12.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 3.00
