Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients needs.
-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
-Initiates assessment based on the patients problems or needs, the physicians medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
-Manages care of patients.
-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
-Minimum 2 years (recent) strong Med-Surg experience required.

Start Date: 12/22/2025 Hours Per Week: 36.00 Hours Per Day: 8.00 Schedule Notes: Shift: Night Hours Per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other Holiday Requirement : As needed On-Call Requirement : None Float Requirement : As needed Required Years of Experience : 1 Preferred Years of Experience : 2+ Required Hard Skills : Assessment, EKG interpretation/cardiac rhythm analysis, hemodynamic monitoring, IV therapy/insertion, medication administration, wound care, patient and family education, and a working knowledge of inpatient hospice. Required Soft Skills : Critical thinking/problem solving, communication, collaboration, teamwork, attention to detail, composure under pressure, empathy/compassion, adaptability, and patience.
