Job Title: Registered Nurse Psychiatric (Psych)
Location: Antrim, NH
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Schedule Notes:
Work Hours: Full-time, 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts)
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
On-Call Requirement: Must be available on both weekdays and weekends; may float to new another location upon opening

Job Summary:

This position supports a Residential Treatment Center with detox and inpatient psychiatric services. The nurse is responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, administering medication, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong boundaries, a compassionate approach to recovery, and previous experience working with substance use disorder (SUD) patients.

• Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to detox and residential patients

• Assess physical and behavioral health, develop and implement care plans

• Administer medications accurately, monitor and document effects

• Communicate with interdisciplinary team; escalate patient status changes

• Conduct psychoeducation and life skills groups

• Complete admissions and discharges efficiently

• Ensure accurate and secure medication handling (including narcotics)

• Supervise CNAs, LPNs, and BHAs as per unit policy

• Participate in patient care planning, therapy groups, and family meetings

• Document all interactions, interventions, and patient status changes

• Provide thorough shift handoffs and participate in emergency service coverage as needed

• RN License Active and unrestricted (Required)

• BLS Certification (Required)

• CPI Certification (Required;)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an inpatient psychiatric setting (Required)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Documentation System: EHR HCS

• Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Able to handle behavioral health patients with professionalism and safety
