Job Summary:
This position acts as a clinical leader in delivering patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and organizational standards. The RN effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members, taking accountability for quality patient outcomes. The role requires sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity and active involvement in unit and departmental goals. The nurse demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the company’s nursing philosophy.

Work Schedule:
- Night Shift
- 12-hour shifts
Education:
- Required: Registered Nurse Diploma
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
Certifications:
- Required:
- Current RN license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- CPI Blue Card
- Preferred: Clinical specialty certification

- Proficient in computers, software, and web-based applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment
Primary Duties:
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process
- Assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively
- Serve as a leader and collaborative partner on interdisciplinary teams
- Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote improvements for optimal outcomes
- Foster customer satisfaction, employee morale, and professional nursing growth
- Adapt behavior and communication style based on patient population and cultural needs
- Remain compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Report any suspected unethical, safety, or compliance concerns promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Involves heavy work: exerting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally; frequent lifting/pushing/pulling between 10 and 50 pounds
- Prolonged walking and standing; possible sitting with arm/leg controls
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and potential communicable diseases
- Possible exposure to hazardous medications and waste during handling and disposal
