RN - PICU
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (RN - PICU)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 8+ Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $65 – $70/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel PICU RN with a strong background in CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with critically ill pediatric patients and managing high-acuity cardiac conditions. Epic EMR experience is REQUIRED. This is a fast-paced, high-tech unit in a large academic hospital.
Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients

Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications

Provide postoperative care for pediatric cardiac and surgical patients

Collaborate closely with pediatric intensivists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols
Skills & Requirements:
Certifications:

BLS (AHA) – Required
-
PALS (AHA) – Required
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience – Required

CVICU experience – REQUIRED

Pediatric ICU experience – Strongly Preferred

Epic EMR Experience – REQUIRED
Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program – Required

BSN – Preferred
