Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Perth Amboy, NJ —08861
Duration: 3 + Months contract (with potential 6-month extension)
Pay Rate: $65/hr. on W2
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week | Manager is reviewing resumes | Return travelers who can start ASAP will be highly considered

The Registered Nurse will provide patient-centric care in a Labor & Delivery setting, including couplet care. You will evaluate patients, assist physicians, and implement nursing interventions based on individualized assessments. This role supports evidence-based practices and ensures documentation aligns with clinical priorities and standards.

- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage patient care and monitor outcomes
- Document care based on standards and acuity
- Advocate for evidence-based practices
- Provide couplet care in alignment with nursing models
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Labor & Delivery
- Experience with couplet care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous travel nurse experience
- Ability to start immediately
- Strong communication and documentation skills
