RN - Medical/Surgical Tele (MS/Tele)

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg /Tele
Location: Edinburgh, TX
Duration: 3 Months+ with possible extension
 
Shift: Both Days and Night shifts available - 3 x 12s
 
Requirements:
  • A state professional registered nurse license or multi-state compact license is required.
  • BLS from AHA is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Med/Tele experience is required.
 
Job Description:
  • Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
  • Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients’ needs
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients
  • Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation
  • Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation
  • Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures
