Job Title: Clinical Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Department: Emergency Services
Schedule: 3x12s | Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend (EOW) Required
Hours Per Week: 34.5 | Hours Per Day: 11.5
Pay range: $67 to $69/hour on W2 negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care in the Emergency Department (ED). This role focuses on high-quality nursing practice guided by clinical theory, research, and a relationship-centered care model. The nurse will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, manage critical patient care, and actively contribute to quality and safety improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Certification:
- Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required Certifications:
- NYS RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience, including:
- 2 years in Trauma Level II & Pediatric ED
- EPIC experience highly
- Unit Census: Avg. 17 patients
- Unit Beds: 24
- Staffing Ratio: 1:2
- Must be able to work weekends on a rotating basis
