Pay Rate: $70 - $85/hr. on W2
Shift: 7 pm - 7 am (12hr Nights)

We’re seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Telemetry experience for a 13-week assignment in Salinas, CA. This role is critical in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced telemetry unit. The RN will work under the supervision of the unit Director and is expected to demonstrate clinical proficiency, critical thinking, and leadership when guiding support staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The RN will work under the supervision of the unit Director and is expected to demonstrate clinical proficiency, critical thinking, and leadership when guiding support staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications (Insulin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Nitro, Cardizem, Amiodarone).
- Monitor, read, and interpret cardiac strips/EKGs.
- Initiate and manage discharge planning and patient/family education.
- Float to med/surg units as needed, based on staffing demands.
- Act as a charge nurse or preceptor when assigned.
- Ensure safe, cost-effective patient care through time and resource management.
- Comply with all safety protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrate the ability to care for patients across the lifespan with sensitivity to developmental needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience
- ACLS and BLS (AHA-certified)
- Ability to float to Med/Surg as needed
- Ventilator management experience
- Previous experience acting as charge/preceptor
