Job Description:
- Patient Monitoring: Continuously assess and monitor critically ill patients, ensuring timely interventions and documentation of vital signs, lab results, and changes in condition.
- Critical Care: Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving procedures as per physician orders and ICU protocols, including ventilator support and cardiac monitoring.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients in intensive care, participating in rounds and case discussions.
- Patient Advocacy: Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of patients, providing emotional support to both patients and their families during stressful situations.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, including code blue situations, and take lead in resuscitation efforts, maintaining a calm and efficient approach under pressure.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience as RN in ICU or CCU
Education:
- Associates in nursing Required
- Bachelors in nursing Preferred
Certifications and Licenses:
- RN License of WI or Compact
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
