- A state professional registered nurse license or multi-state compact license is required.
- OR Experience is required: 2 years.
- BLS is required
Job Description:
- The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures, department admissions to the operative suite.
- Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques.
- Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.
- Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team.
- Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure.
- Assembles equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is functional and supplies/implants.
