- Role: RN - Emergency Room
- Location: Bakersfield , CA
- Shift: MID Shift 3pm - 3am
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Local Pay: $65/hr - $70/hr
- Travel Pay: $2750/week - $2947/week ($70/hr - $75/hr)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide swift, accurate, and compassionate care to patients experiencing acute illnesses or trauma.
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize treatment based on severity.
- Collaborate with ER physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and operate emergency medical equipment.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in real time (because if it's not charted, it didn't happen).
- Maintain ER best practices and ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
- Be ready to pivot code blues, rapid responses, and crisis situations come with the territory.
Requirements:
- Active RN License California (CA) must be current and in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience acute care setting preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (preferred or required per facility policy)
