Title: RN NICU
Location: New York
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week; 3 weekends per 4 weeks)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 11.5 hours per shift, 34.5 hours per week
Unit Census: 45-46 beds, Staff Ratio 1:1 to 1:3
Pay Rate: $70/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
Registered Professional Nurse providing expert, evidence-based care to neonatal patients and their families within a Level 3 & 4 NICU setting. The role includes patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, quality and safety initiatives, operational coordination, and professional development, ensuring exceptional outcomes in Women & Children’s Services.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Licensure: New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License required.
- Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years hospital nursing experience, including at least 2 years in neonatal ICU (NICU Level 3 & 4).
- Mechanical ventilation and ostomy care experience mandatory.
- Travel nursing experience (1 year) preferred for travel positions.
- Technical Skills: EPIC electronic health record system experience highly preferred.
- Other: Ability to work night shifts; strong clinical judgment and leadership skills; excellent communication and teamwork.
