Duration: 3 months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
 
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
On-Call: 24-hour period on working days (8:00 AM–8:00 AM)
Unit: Clinic
 
Role Overview:
The NP will provide medical care for adult patients in a Residential Treatment Center with Detox services. Responsibilities include direct patient care, rounding, and telehealth services. This position involves a focus on substance use disorders and includes care for both detox and residential treatment clients.
 
Facility Details:

• Detox Beds: 9–12
• Residential Beds: 23–36 (flexible up to 35)
• Population: Adult patients with primary diagnosis of substance abuse
• Telehealth: Weekly check-ins for PHP patients (approx. 4–8 hours/day)
• Rounding: Up to 12 detox clients + 3–5 residential clients daily

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients in detox and residential programs
• Conduct daily rounds on detox and selected residential clients
• Deliver telehealth check-ins for PHP patients
• Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage (rate paid per hour, call-back paid at straight time)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
• Ensure proper documentation and follow clinical protocols

 
Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Active NH Nurse Practitioner license (or Compact License depending on board approval time)
  • DEA Certification
  • 1+ year experience as an NP in a clinic or inpatient setting
• Preferred:
  • Experience in psychiatric care and detox/substance abuse treatment

 
Compensation:

• On-call compensation: per hour (plus straight time for call-backs)
