Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
Location Available: Portland, ME 04102
Duration: 3 Months+ Contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Specialty: Transitional Care – Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: Prefer 48 hours, 36 hours acceptable
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (36 hours)
Call Requirements: No
Float Requirements: May float based on skillset
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year, recent acute care experience preferred
 
Education & Certifications:

  • Required: BLS Certification
  • Education Modules: Healthstream Modules
 
Unit Information:
  • Beds: 46 (at capacity)
  • Patient Ratio: Maximum 1:8
  • Equipment: Specialty beds, Philips monitor vital sign machines, overhead lifts, Sara Steady, standing scale, bladder scanner, Hover Mat, Sage Mat, Synergy Air beds, Stryker beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, walkers, slide boards
  • EMR: Epic
 
Hiring Profile:
  • Must have recent acute care experience
  • Must be proficient in charting and EMR (Epic)
  • Comfortable caring for a mixed medical and surgical patient population medically ready for discharge
