RN - Modified Care Unit

Job Title: RN - Modified Care Unit
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Duration: 3 Months+ (Extension Possible)

Shift: 3rd shift (19:00 – 07:30)
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week, 36 Hours Per Week, 12-hour nights, float as needed, up to every other weekend
 
Job Summary:

• The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients.
• This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License OR a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) state
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA-approved equivalent.

• Cardiac Telemetry Care experience
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other conditions needing close cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice typically gained through two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing
