RN - Med-Surg Float Pool
Job Title: Registered Nurse Float (RN - Float)
Location: Albany, NY 12208
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $65 $70/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel Float Registered Nurse with the flexibility to support multiple units within a large academic hospital setting. Applicants must have recent Epic EMR experience and the ability to complete a required competency test within 24 hours of submission (unless meeting the 2-year experience threshold).
Responsibilities:

Provide patient care across multiple units as staffing needs require

Adapt quickly to varied unit environments including Med Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and specialty areas as needed

Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform interventions according to unit standards

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes

Document all care provided using Epic EMR
Skills & Requirements:

Epic EMR Experience: Required
Experience:

Minimum 2 years total RN experience (no testing required), OR
-
At least 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency test score
Competency Test:

Must be completed within 24 hours of submission
