*FLOAT REQUIRED - This is a float pool position, floating will be required and expected within skillset*
RNs will work in one space that will be a seven-bed unit located on our 3rd floor. Our current patient capacity is limited and due to volume, we have to think outside of the box. They will staff this specific space with the option to staff other areas if volume is low. I do not anticipate that happening often, but it is an option. There will be 2 RNs assigned to these rooms and there will not be a nurse tech assigned.
*Minimum 2 yrs exp required -- NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS.
*BLS required, ACLS NIH preferred
*EPIC
*MS Tele exp a plus
*Interpretation Mgmt of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, accessing ports, CVA, total joint, HFNC
*Previous Charge exp preferred
*Ratios: 1:4-6
Any medical-surgical or medical telemetry adult patient requiring 24-hour nursing care that is physiologically and hemodynamically stable.
Any frequent monitoring must not exceed every 4 hours for periods of greater than 1-2 hours. Patients requiring routine vital sign monitoring greater than every 4 hours: The unit can accommodate more frequent monitoring on a short-term basis (i.e., Yellow MEWS or Acute Stroke TIA).
