- Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts, and longterm contracts with suppliers.
- Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for technical equipment, custom engineered products, systems, software, or components.
- Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology roadmaps.
- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with organizational policy.
- Discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.

- Ensures risk management, quality, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and legal compliance align with company policies.
- Updates supplier agreements and contracting policies for internal stakeholder use.
- Supports category or sourcing strategies and tendering event management.
- Helps develop and implement innovative solutions to resolve complex issues using change management strategies.
- Conducts contract reviews for audit compliance and spend analysis to assess longterm supply needs.
- Manages day-to-day Energy contracts in regulated and deregulated markets.
- Supports development of category strategies aligned with business plans and regulatory commitments.
- Uses complex data sets to identify opportunities and risks across contract lifecycles.
- Ensures protection and proper handling of all physical, financial, cybersecurity, and sensitive information assets.
