Job Title: RN - MED/SURG TELEMETRY - NIGHTS
Job Location: Portland, ME
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 7:30pm; Night shift, 7:00pm - 7:00am

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of travel experience.

Float Requirements:

• Per hospital need.
• Will float per units float rotation guidelines.

Education & Certifications Required:

• Required Certifications: BLS.

Education Modules:

• Stroke.
• SI/Restraints.
• Telemetry.
• Blood glucose.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 24.

• Patient Ratios:

  • Day shift - goal 1:4, max 1:5.

  • Night shift - goal 1:5, max 1:6.

• Equipment: PLUM, Stryker.

• EMR: EPIC.

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient acute medical surgical experience. Telemetry.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCA, epidural, wound vac, IV pumps.
• Type of Patients on Unit: Medical-Surgical including medical telemetry patients.
• Personality Fit: Positive attitude and teamwork centered! Flexible and adaptable.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: No specific color required.
• Any unacceptable attire: All attire must meet hospital appearance policy.
