Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location: Manahawkin, NJ
Duration: 3 +Months (Possibility of extension)

Shift Time: Day Shift| 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM | 40hr/5 Shift week | Every other weekend & holidays required
Local Pay Range: $50.00/hr on W2
 
Note: PER DIEM RATES PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.
 
Job Description:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN Circulator) is responsible for applying the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical interventions in the operating room setting.
 
Responsibilities Include:

• Proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles.
• Provide professional nursing care to patients during surgical procedures.
• Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and patient responses.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond effectively to changes.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to operating room protocols.
• Assign, supervise, and evaluate non-nursing direct care personnel in the operating room.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

 
Required Certifications & Licence:

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New Jersey State or Multi-State Compact
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
