Phlebotomist II

Title: Patient Services Representative II (PSR II – Phlebotomist)
Location: Overland Park, KS
Duration: 2–3 months (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM CT

The PSR II serves as the face of the company, performing high-quality phlebotomy and ensuring exceptional patient care. This role requires skillful specimen collection, adherence to established protocols, and the ability to provide a professional, positive patient experience in a variety of settings, including Patient Service Centers, physician offices, and other assigned locations.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients

• Verify patient identity and ensure proper specimen labeling in the patient’s presence

• Process forensic and clinical specimens according to protocols

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment

• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time

• Demonstrate superior customer service and represent the organization positively

• Travel to multiple locations as needed with minimal notice

• Follow all company policies, dress code, and safety regulations

• Exercise good judgment within established procedures

• Adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

• Required: 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws

• Preferred: 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment

• Customer service experience in retail or service setting (preferred)

• Proficiency in keyboarding/data entry

• Excellent phlebotomy skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
