Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) - Critical Need

Job Title: RN Med/Surg - Telemetry (MS Tele)
Location: Woodland Hills / Anaheim / Harbor City / Irvine / Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: 12-hour Night shifts
Pay Local: $70–$80/hr (W2)
Pay Traveler: $2,500–$3,200/week (stipend available if >50 miles)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) or equivalent units within the last 3 years
• Active CA RN License
• BLS & ACLS Certification

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
• Operate and manage telemetry equipment and other monitoring devices
• Participate in unit meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and adaptability in high-acuity settings
