52101 - Travel: RN - Telemetry I/IMC MedSurg
Job Title: Travel RN Telemetry I / IMC MedSurg
Location: Alamogordo, NM 88310
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Both Days and Nights, 3*12, 7-7
Job Responsibilities:

Provide independent, competent nursing care in Telemetry, IMC, and MedSurg settings

Care for medical, surgical, and respiratory patients
-
Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
-
Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor effectiveness and side effects
-
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
-
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social patient needs
-
Educate patients, families, and caregivers; assess learning needs and provide resources
-
Delegate and assign tasks appropriately to other care providers
-
Float as needed to Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Joint, and Emergency Department units

Meet Client Competencies (Leader of Self/Others) and ANA Product & Standards of Practice
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred)

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Licenses:
-
Active RN License in New Mexico or Compact State

Certifications:
-
BLS (AHA required)
-
ACLS (AHA required)
-
Preferences:
-
Prior Telemetry, IMC, or MedSurg experience
-
Ability to float across multiple units
-
Experience managing complex patient care in acute care settings
Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week period
Call Requirement: 2 call shifts per 6-week period
