Job Title: RN - MED/SURG TELEMETRY - BACKFILL - NIGHT
Job Location: Portland, ME
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 7:30pm. Night shift, 7:00pm - 7:00am

Float Requirements:

• Per hospital need.
• Will float per units float rotation guidelines.

Education & Certifications Required:

• BLS.
• Stroke, SI/Restraints, telemetry, blood glucose.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 18.

• Patient Ratios: Day shift- goal 1:4, max 1:5. Night shift- goal 1:5, max 1:6.

• Equipment: PLUM, Stryker.

• EMR: EPIC.

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Inpatient acute medical surgical experience.
• Telemetry.
• 1 year of travel experience.

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• PCA.
• Epidural.
• Wound vac.
• IV pumps.

Type of Patients on Unit:

• Medical-Surgical.
• Mostly medical telemetry patients.
• Our unit is one of the stroke certified units for the hospital.

• Scrub Color: No specific color required.
• Any unacceptable attire: All attire must meet hospital appearance policy.
