National Certified Phleb (Phlebotomy) candidates will be considered

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of autonomous venipuncture experience
- (School/externship experience not considered)
- Must be comfortable with blood draws as the primary job responsibility
Education / Training Requirements:
Candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- Graduated from a postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by:
- CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs)
- OR ABHES (Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools)
- OR Completed Medical Assistant training through any branch of the armed forces
- OR Hold a Medical Assistant certification from an organization accredited by:
- National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA)
- OR American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
- Arizona (Client) Medical Assistant Requirement
Must meet one of the following:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program
- OR Military Medical Assistant training completed
- OR Certified Medical Assistant from an approved accrediting body
- (Must also have completed a Medical Assistant training program)
- Accepted Certifications (Active or Previously Active)
- AMCA – American Medical Certification Association
- AMT – American Medical Technologists
- AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants
- NHA – National Healthcareer Association
- NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing
