Job Title: Clinical Nurse – Oncology
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 shifts/week | 11.5 hours per shift
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $60/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse provides safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered nursing care in an oncology setting. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care, focusing on relationship-centered practice, patient education, quality, and safety. The nurse manages oncology patients’ needs and promotes optimal health outcomes in alignment with organizational standards.
Qualifications & Skills:

Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensure: Active New York State RN License
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years hospital experience in medicine and chemotherapy oncology
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- 1 year travel nursing experience preferred (not required for per diem)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Technical Skills: EPIC experience highly preferred
- Additional:
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care
