Job Title: RN Telemetry
Shift:
Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (EOW Required) (3x12 Schedule, 34.5 hours/week)
Location: NYC, NY
Contract Type: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $53/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)

Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care within the Med Surg/Tele unit. This role emphasizes using evidence-based practices and nursing theory to manage patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The nurse will also engage in patient education, ensure quality and safety standards, and contribute to operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (non-negotiable).
Licensure & Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) – New York State (must be in good standing upon hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA required.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
  • 2 years of Telemetry & Critical Care experience required.
Skills:
  • Strong patient care management, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with high-risk patient care, including ventilator and tele monitoring.
Additional Requirements:
  • Flu vaccination (seasonal)
  • Availability to work weekends and rotate shifts as necessary.
