Unit: 113-6102 - CVCU/PCU
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/16/2025
Shift: Nights – 12hr (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $70/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join the cardiovascular intensive care unit. The RN will provide direct care to critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes. Strong clinical judgment, ICU proficiency, and cardiac monitoring experience are essential.
Responsibilities:

Deliver expert, compassionate nursing care to patients in the CVICU

Monitor and manage life-sustaining equipment (e.g., ventilators, IV drips)

Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergent situations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care

Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and long-term care

Participate in shift hand-offs and care planning
Required Certifications:

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required
