Job Title: RN - OPERATING ROOM - DAYS
Job Location: Portland, ME
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm for days
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): 1:4 weekends, 12 hour shifts
Call Requirements: one overnight call, 11:00pm - 7:00am for Trauma call, if on a specialty team, call will be scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Client)

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced (minimum 3 years level 1 trained) Travel Nurse to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at our client location.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in surgical nursing, exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-stress environment.

RN Requirements:

• Must be competent in Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy's, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy's, Cystectomy's, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy's and Ureteroscopy's.
• RN must be comfortable with a patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Certifications Required:

• CNOR preferred.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 26.

• Patient Ratios: 1:1.

• Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot.

• EMR: Epic.

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Level 1 trauma experience.

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• General, GU/GYN, Client trauma, Client joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular.

Type of Patients on Unit:

• Operating Room.

• Scrub Color: Teal scrubs issued from the hospital.
