RN - Cardiac Progressive Care
Job Title: RN – Cardiac Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53226
Duration: 10/27/2025 – 01/23/2026
Shift: 3rd Shift (19:00 – 07:30)
Schedule: 3x12 hrs/week, 36 hrs/week; 12 hr nights; every other weekend; float as needed; high acuity cardiac step-down unit; Level I trauma hospital experience is a plus; no on-call
Required Skills & Experience
-
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
Education
-
Associate’s degree in nursing – Required.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing – Preferred.
Licensure & Certifications
-
Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating NLC state.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or AHA approved equivalent – Required.

AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or AHA approved equivalent – Required.
Job Summary

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.

Deliver competent nursing care to a primarily adult population.

Perform functions adapted from ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
