- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Kern County, CA
- Schedule: Mids (1pm - 1am)
- Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
- Pay Local: $60/hr - $70/hr -W2
- Pat Travel: $2500/week - $3000/week
- Note: Stipend is also provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility, we have other multiple locations available in CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, therapeutic nursing care in alignment with ANA Standards of Practice and the California Nurse Practice Act.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through all stages of the nursing process.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create individualized care plans.
- Prioritize and respond quickly to changes in patient conditions, including activation of emergency protocols.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Promote patient safety and quality outcomes through infection control compliance and adherence to medication administration policies.
- Participate in professional governance councils, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain active knowledge of nursing best practices, standards of ethics, and professional practice models.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical RN experience.
- Active and unrestricted California RN License.
- Current American Heart Association Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- NIHSS Certification required.
