Job Title: Clinical Nurse – Heart Hospital (Stepdown Unit)
Location: New York, NY
Contract Type: 13 weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 3x12-hour shifts per week + 4th shift per month Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Hours per Week: 34.5
Hourly rate: $58/hr. on W2 (Negotiable)
Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to a designated patient population within the Heart Hospital. This role involves integrating evidence-based practices, nursing theory, and professional standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensure: Active NYS RN License (Required)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Required)

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- At least 2 years in cardiology, telemetry, or post-Cath procedural care

Ventilator and stepdown unit experience required

Technical Skills: EPIC experience strongly preferred

Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing accepted with relevant experience or BSN enrollment
