Job Title: RN Labor & Delivery
Job Location: West Bloomfield, MI
Job Duration: 3 months+ (possible extension)

Shift Timings: 7 pm to 07:30 am
 
Schedule Notes:
  • Must Have 2 years L&D experience Must Have BLS NRP nice to have ACLS
  • Critical need: candidates must be able to start as soon as cleared Manager will be reaching out for informal virtual interview prior to offer.
 
Job Summary:
  • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
  • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
  • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
 
Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
Required Certification & Licensure:
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NRP
 
Skills:
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
