Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Need

Job Title: RN – Level III NICU
Location: Oakland, CA 
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days & Nights (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience to provide high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in caring for critically ill newborns in a fast-paced NICU environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families.

• Deliver specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Support and educate families throughout the patient care journey

• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent RN experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Current certifications required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • AWHONN
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Recent Level III NICU experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field preferred
• Seven (7) years of recent Level III NICU experience within the last 10 years preferred
