Roles & Responsibilities:
- Individual will be responsible for request for records, scheduling appointments at provider offices for the retrieval, performing on-site retrieval of records at practice group locations and review and abstraction of specific medical record data related to HEDIS hybrid measures.
- The records will be obtained via scanning, copying, office EMR system, downloading on secure encrypted ironkey, or other electronic means.
- The data will be entered into a HEDIS software system after complete and accurate review.
- He/she will represent Client in professional manner.
- Individual should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and medical record review experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency is required, and experience with electronic data transfer and use of removal media device is desired.
- Professional appearance, current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for project participation, unless deemed for abstraction of records only.
Qualifications:
- All applicants will be advised that Client, as a federal contractor, may be required to implement a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
- Must have active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- HEDIS experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in chart review/chart abstraction preferred.
- Regional travel involved.
- Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills required.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is required.
- Must successfully complete the training program offered, and meet & maintain acceptable performance goals.
