Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room
Location: Edison, NJ, 08818
Duration: 06/16/2025 – 09/13/2025
Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay Range: $63/hr.

Additional Scheduling Notes:

• Scheduled days: Monday, Thursday, Friday

• Weekends required

• Holidays as needed

• Minimum 4 on-call shifts per month

• Department: Operating Room

• 1:1 patient ratio

• Must be available for all scheduled shifts unless pre-approved

• Cannot maintain other jobs that conflict with this schedule

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required in at least one of the following: Orthopedics, Vascular, Da Vinci (robotic), Neurosurgery

• Experience in all four specialties highly preferred

Job Summary:

• Provides nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.

• Ensures documentation reflects patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses.

• Oversees and evaluates the work of non-nursing direct care staff in the OR.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) – Required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• CNOR – Preferred

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in at least one of the following: Orthopedics, Vascular, Da Vinci (robotic), Neurosurgery

• Scrub and circulating experience – Required

• Epic EMR experience – Preferred

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience across all four listed surgical specialties – Highly Preferred
