Duration: 4 months+ (Temp with possible perm)

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts (36 hours/week), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Type: NOC
Interview Type: 1 interview – virtual/phone
Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Scrub Color: Royal Blue / Navy
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
On Call: N/A
 
Certification/Degree Requirements:
  • RN license.
  • ACLS.
  • BLS.
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced (within 2 years).
  • NRP.
 
Top Skills Required:
  • Minimum 3 years of L&D experienceRequired.
  • Experience with EpicPreferred.
  • Ability to thrive independentlyEssential.
 
JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who uses the Client nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the healthcare team.
Using the nursing process, the RN:
  • Assesses the patient.
  • Identifies nursing diagnoses.
  • Develops and implements an individualized plan of care.
  • Evaluates the patient's response.
The RN promotes safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients in transitioning through the healthcare encounter without preventable complications or delays.
This RN position is for hospital inpatient and outpatient departments with 24x7 staffing, including departments with on-call staffing during off-shifts.
Examples include GI Lab, Pain Management, Dialysis, Infusion Centers, and IV Services.
